Which income and documents are needed for citizenship by residence?

The application normally requires declared income for the last 3 tax years, identity document, birth certificate, criminal records from the country of origin and any residence countries, residence permit and language proof where required. The economic requirement concerns adequate means and tax compliance; household circumstances may count where allowed but do not replace the applicant’s income with a generic figure. Foreign certificates must be legalised/apostilled and translated when required.
